Happy New Year!

There is always excitement in the air around the world when a new year begins. Even if times have been rough, there is a glimmer of hope that this year things will be better.

Grab hold of that hope and don't let go! When we have faith (even a little faith) that faith opens the door for miracles. Be determined this year is going to be great! God's best is just around the corner!

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and will bring you back from captivity."
- Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NIV)

God has great plans for your life that are good. Call on Him today and He will bring you back from captivity. What has you held captive? What worries you? Keeps you up at night? Makes you fear will happen or has happened? Call on Him to clear your mind and give you peace.

If you do not know how to fully surrender your life to God, click on the "Steps to Peace" link on the right of the blog page. The link will take to you the Billy Graham website where you can be lead step by step in setting your life in the right direction!

You're in good hands if you love God and we are called for His purpose, that all should come to the saving knowledge of Christ. When you love God, you can rejoice knowing this will be a Happy New Year!

"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died— more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: 'For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
- Romans 8:28, 31-39 (NIV)
